We have been running things here in Padma Nagar for a good while. Our shop is located at 6/9/249/4, near the survey area. We handle a lot of different fabrics and cloth. Most of the day is spent unloading rolls of material or measuring out orders for people who come by. The shelves are usually overflowing with different colors and textures. It’s a bit dusty because of all the lint, but that’s normal for a textile place. We aren't a big showroom with mannequins and bright lights. It’s more of a warehouse feel where the work actually happens. We have a few machines for cutting and stitching, and they make a lot of noise throughout the afternoon. My family helps out with the business. We don't really have a set routine, just whatever needs to be done that day. Sometimes a big order comes in and we have to stay late to get it packed up. Padma Nagar is a busy place, and we are right in the thick of it. We know our customers by name mostly. It’s a simple business. We just buy the material, process it, and sell it. There’s no secret to it, just hard work and keeping track of the stock. It’s how we’ve always done things here since we opened. We just try to keep things moving.
