Our spot is over in Tawaklapur village, specifically at H. No. 2-88 in Pradhana Nagar. If you’ve ever been to Gundlapalli Mandal in Nalgonda, you know how the sun feels on your neck during the day. We deal with a lot of sand, cement, and heavy bricks around here. The yard is usually full of materials waiting to go out to different local sites. It gets pretty messy with all the dust blowing around, but that is just how construction work goes. We have a small room where we keep the papers and some of the smaller tools locked up at night. Most of the time, we are out at the sites rather than sitting in the office. The roads in Nalgonda can be a bit rough on the trucks, so we are always checking the tires and the engines. We aren't a big corporation with fancy uniforms or anything like that. Usually, we're just wearing whatever is comfortable for moving heavy stuff around. There is a small tea shop nearby where we take breaks. The local guys come by to see if we have any work for the week ahead. We’ve built a few houses and walls around this area over the years. People know us because we’ve been at this same address for a long time. It’s hard work and your back usually hurts by the end of the shift, but the houses get built eventually. We just get it done.
