Sagar Cement Ltd.

Our place, Sagar Cement Ltd., is located over at 7/198 on Mattapally Road. If you know the Mattampally area, you’ve probably driven past us a dozen times. It’s a dusty business, honestly, but it’s what we do. We’ve got the plant set up here and there’s always trucks coming and going at all hours. We don’t have any of those slick reception areas you see in the city. It’s mostly just the sound of machinery and people in boots getting their hands dirty. Cement is one of those things everyone needs but nobody thinks about much until they're building something. We keep our operations running day in and day out to make sure there’s enough supply for the projects around here. The road out front gets pretty busy with the transport side of things. It’s a local operation at heart, even if the name sounds a bit bigger. We’ve got a crew that’s been here for years and they know the equipment better than anyone. It’s not always easy work, especially when the heat picks up in the afternoon, but we manage. We’re just a bunch of folks working on the Mattapally Road, trying to keep things moving. We don't do much in the way of big speeches or fancy ads. We just focus on the bags of cement and getting them where they need to go. It's just a regular part of life around here.
