Being on the highway means there is always a lot of noise and traffic passing by. We spend our time making boxes and packaging materials for various uses. It’s a big space because we need room for the materials and the machines. We started this because there was a need for packaging in this part of the region. It’s a lot of repetitive work, cutting and folding and stacking, but it's what we know how to do. The dust from the cardboard can get everywhere, so we are constantly cleaning up. We don't have a big front desk or any receptionists. Most people just pull up their trucks and we load them up with what they ordered. It gets pretty hot inside during the summer months, but we just keep the fans going and stay on schedule. We focus on getting the dimensions right so the stuff inside doesn't break. That’s the main thing. We’ve seen a lot of businesses come and go along this highway, but we just keep our machines running and handle the daily orders as they come in. It’s a simple life of manufacturing and shipping. Sometimes the machines break down and we have to fix them ourselves, which takes time, but we manage to get it done somehow.
