We operate out of Flat 105 on the first floor of V.T. Towers here in Nalgonda. It is a decent building in the V.T. Colony area, easy to spot once you get into the neighborhood. Being up on the first floor means we get a bit of a view of the street, which is usually quite crowded. Madras Cements Ltd has had this office for a while to handle the local distribution and paperwork. It is not a huge space, but it fits our desks and the files we need for the day-to-day operations. Most of our work involves coordinating with dealers and making sure the trucks are headed to the right locations around the 508001 pin code. Sometimes the lift in the building acts up, so we end up taking the stairs more often than we would like. The staff here is small, just a few of us making sure things run without too much trouble. We drink a lot of tea while going through the delivery schedules. It can get loud with the traffic outside, but you get used to it after a week or two. We aren't doing anything flashy, just the basic work of moving cement from one place to another. People stop by to ask about prices or check on their orders quite often. It feels like a normal part of the V.T. Colony community now. We just try to stay organized and get through the pile of invoices on the desk. That is basically all there is to it.
