Laxminarsimha Swamy Harvesters

We are based in Sherubavigudem village. That’s in Narketpally, Nalgonda. Laxminarsimha Swamy Harvesters is mostly about the machines. We have these big harvesters that we take out to the fields. During harvest season, we aren't home much. We move from one farm to another. It’s dusty work. The machines need a lot of grease and fixing. We do most of the repairs ourselves right here at H. No. 8-12. The yard is usually full of spare parts and oil cans. It’s not a clean place. It’s a working yard. Farmers from all around Nalgonda know our name. They call when the crop is ready. We have to be quick because the weather can change. If it rains, the work stops. My cousin helps me drive the harvesters. It takes two people usually. We don't have a fancy office. Just a small room with a desk and some chairs for when people come to pay. We've been doing this for several years now. It’s hard work but it’s what we know. The village is small so news travels fast. If a machine breaks down, everyone knows. We try to keep them running well. It’s just how things go in the farming business. We stay busy for a few months then it’s quiet. That's the life of a harvester. We just take care of the equipment and help the farmers get their grain in.
