Sri Sowbhagya Constructions

Our office is tucked right behind the High School in Kodad. If you know the area, you know it’s a bit of a quiet spot until the school bell rings. We do construction work around town. Most of our days are spent at sites getting our shoes dirty. We deal with bricks, sand, and cement all day long. It's a tough business because the weather doesn't always play nice. When it rains in Kodad everything slows down and we just wait. We build houses and small shops mainly. We have a few guys who have been with us since the start. They know how I like things done. We don't have a website or anything like that. People just find us by asking around or seeing our signs at the sites. We handle the paperwork from the small room at house 3/92. It’s full of blueprints and old files. Sometimes the neighbors come by to complain about the noise but we try to be quick. We don't promise things we can't do. Building stuff takes time and there are always problems like a truck breaking down or someone not showing up. We just handle it. It's not glamorous but seeing a roof go up is a good feeling. We’re just local people trying to build something that stays standing and looks decent for the folks living there.
