Jyothi Tarvells

Out here in Gasiramthanda, things are a bit slower than the city. Jyothi Tarvells is our little setup in Junuthala Village. It is part of Gurrampode Mandal. If you know the area, you know it is mostly fields and local folks going about their day. We started this because people needed a way to get around without too much trouble. Our address isn’t a fancy street with numbers like in the big towns. Everyone just knows the Thanda. We keep a couple of vehicles ready. It is a lot of dust on the roads sometimes, especially in the dry season. We spend a lot of time cleaning the windshields. It is a family-run kind of thing. My uncle helps with the logs and I handle the talk. We don't have a big website or anything. Word of mouth is how people find out we have a car available. We have driven to the city and back more times than I can count. Sometimes we take people to weddings, other times it is just a trip to the hospital or the market. The village is home. We know everyone here and they know us. It is not a big business with hundreds of cars. Just a few that we look after well. We are usually sitting under the tree near the entrance when it is quiet. It’s just what we do to help people get where they are going.
