M V Sizing Works Arjalabavi is located at 6/9/197 on the Hyderabad Road in Padmanagar. The place is pretty easy to spot because of its size and the constant movement around the entrance. Sizing is a messy and hot process, and our facility reflects that. The air inside is thick with the smell of starch and the heat from the big rollers we use to process the yarn. It is a very loud environment, so we have to shout sometimes just to be heard over the machinery. The floor is made of rough concrete and is often stained from the materials we use. We are right on the Hyderabad Road, so the sound of heavy trucks passing by adds to the noise. Padmanagar is a hub for this kind of work, and we have been part of the landscape for quite a while now. There are no fancy offices or air-conditioned break rooms here. We mostly just sit on plastic chairs near the main door when we have a few minutes of quiet. Our clothes usually end up covered in white dust by the end of the shift. The building itself is a bit worn out, with some rusty patches on the corrugated roof. We don't have a marketing team or a sales department. People just bring their yarn to us because they know we are here and we've been doing this for years. It’s just hard, honest work every single day.
