Dheeravath Saidamma Dairy Farms

The farm is located out in Kanchal Tanda, which is part of the Bommala Ramamaram area. It’s a bit of a drive to get here, especially if you’re coming from the main city. We spend most of our time at Sy No 84, where the animals are. Mornings start early, usually before the sun is even up, because there is always something that needs doing with the cows. It’s quiet work mostly, just feeding them and making sure the sheds are clean. The address for mail is different, H No 1-75, but the real work happens at the unit. Being in District 508116 means we are surrounded by fields and a lot of open space, which is good for the dairy. It can get very hot in the summer months, and we have to make sure the animals stay cool enough. We don't have many people working here, just a small group of us who know the routine. Dealing with milk and livestock means you don’t really get days off. Everything has to happen on a schedule. Sometimes the roads around Cheekati Mamidi aren’t the best after it rains, so getting supplies in can be a bit of a hassle. We just keep at it because the work doesn’t stop. It’s a humble place, and we just try to keep things running as smoothly as possible throughout the week without making a big fuss about it.
