About Development & Welfare Association Of The Blind – Education in Nalgonda
Down here in Nalgonda, specifically at Surdas Bhavan in Anusari Colony, is where you'll find the Development & Welfare Association Of The Blind. We've been at house number 8-268/1 for a good long time now. It’s not a huge office, but it serves the purpose for what we’re trying to do for the community. Most days are spent handling paperwork or meeting with folks who need a hand with different things. It’s mostly quiet, though sometimes it gets busy when we have meetings. The neighborhood knows us pretty well. We aren't a big corporation with shiny desks and expensive chairs. Everything here is practical and used daily. We focus on the welfare side of things, helping blind individuals get by and find their way through various challenges. It’s honest work. Sometimes we run out of tea or the ceiling fan makes a clicking noise, but we keep going. People from around the colony often stop by just to say hello or ask a question about our latest project. We don't have a fancy website or a marketing team. It’s just a few of us making sure the association stays open and does what it’s supposed to do for people. Nalgonda is a warm place, and we fit right in. We deal with real-life problems every morning. It’s about being there for people who might not have many other places to go. The 508001 area is our home, and we're just glad to be part of it, working steadily.
