At K V S Spinning Mills Pvt. Ltd., our daily life revolves around the machines over at Survey No 64. Being located in Nasarlapally Village means it’s a bit quieter than the big cities, but inside the mill, it is anything but quiet. Chintapally Mandal has its own pace, and we sort of follow that. We start early when the air is still a bit cool. The spinning frames take up most of the room, and there’s always that fine lint floating around in the air. You get used to it after a week or two working here. Most of us live nearby, so the commute is just a quick walk or a short bike ride past the fields. The building itself is sturdy but shows its age in places where the paint has peeled. We don't spend much on making it look pretty because the work is inside. Sometimes we have issues with the supply coming in late, and those days are a bit slow, just cleaning and fixing things. But when the cotton is there, the mill runs late into the night. You can see the lights from the road. It’s just a regular workplace where people put in their hours and go home to their families. We’ve been at this spot for a long time now, and everyone in the village knows where we are if they need to drop by or talk about work.
