Doctor Garu And Friends Cotton Ginning Mill

The mill is located at 4 72 in Chintalapalem. It is a name that people sometimes find a bit funny, but it really is just a group of friends and a doctor who got together to start this place up. We deal with the cotton that comes in from the fields around Chintalapalem. During the harvest season, the whole place turns white because the lint gets everywhere. It sticks to your hair and your eyelashes while the machines are running. We spend the days feeding the raw cotton into the gin to get the seeds out. It is noisy and dusty work, and the machines are old but they still do the job if you treat them right. We don't have a big corporate office or anything like that.
