Sambasiva Cotton Ginning Mills

Our mill is located at Sy No 92 on the Main Road in Chilakamaary Village. If you are driving through this area, you really cannot miss the piles of cotton sitting near our entrance. Sambasiva Cotton Ginning Mills is just a local place run by local people who know the trade. We handle the raw cotton that comes straight from the local growers around here. It is often very messy work, and by the end of a long day, almost everyone is covered in white lint from head to toe. We do not really mind it much because it means we are busy. The machinery is quite loud, so we usually have to shout at each other just to be heard over the engines. We do our best to keep everything organized, but a ginning mill is rarely a tidy place to be. There is always a pile of seeds in one corner or a stack of finished bales in another. We have had some tough years when the crops were not very good, but we are still standing and working. We do not have a website or any fancy brochures to show people. Most people in the area know us by our name and our physical location on the road. We try to be fair with everyone who comes through our gates. It is a simple life of working along with the natural seasons.
