Andhra Sinter Ltd.

Our place is out in Gudur Village. It’s part of the Bibi Nagar Mandal. Being in a village means it’s a bit quieter than the city, but Andhra Sinter Ltd. still stays busy with the metal work. We do sintering which is a specific way of making parts from metal powder. It involves a lot of heat and big furnaces. The air around the plant is usually warm. People from the village work here. We have some big machines that have been running for years. It’s a trek to get out here if you are coming from Hyderabad. Bibi Nagar is quite a distance but we like the space we have out here. We don't have any fancy receptionists or glass walls. Just a lot of metal and grease and people in overalls. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to wait for the generators to kick in. We deal with various mechanical parts that go into other machines. It’s a lot of technical stuff but we just see it as our daily job. We have been here for a long time and the locals know us. We just keep the production line moving. When the day ends, we close up and head home through the village roads. It’s a simple life focused on making these small metal components correctly for the people who order them from us.
