Animalla Ramulamma.

Down in the village of Anthampet, life moves at a different pace than the big cities. My name is on the sign, Animalla Ramulamma., and we are located right here in the Marriguda mandal. It is a quiet area mostly, surrounded by fields and the open road that leads out to the rest of the district. The shop is a simple place with a dusty porch where people often stop to rest for a minute. We do not have any flashy advertisements or neon signs. Most of our days are spent sitting on the wooden benches and waiting for the local farmers or neighbors to drop by. We might be sorting through some local produce or just keeping the place tidy. The dust from the road is a constant battle, but you just sweep it out and keep going. When the seasons change, the work changes too, depending on what is being harvested in the fields around Anthampet. We do not have a computer or any fancy gadgets. Everything we do is done with a pencil and a small notebook. It is the kind of place where everyone knows your name and your family. Sometimes we close up early if there is a local festival or if the heat gets to be too much in the middle of the day. It is not a big corporate operation, just a small local spot in the village where we try to be useful to the people living around us. It is a simple life and we like it that way.
