Anand Arts

Anand Arts is located right on R P Road in Nalgonda. We are directly opposite the Canara Bank, so we are pretty easy to spot if you are walking through the town. It’s a busy street with a lot of noise and traffic going by all day. Our shop is usually covered in bits of paint and scraps of material. We do a lot of hand-work here, so there is always a bit of a mess on the floor. People come in with all sorts of requests for signs or drawings. We don't have a fancy computer to show you designs. We usually just sketch something out on a piece of paper to see if it’s what they want. The air smells like thinner and fresh paint most of the time. Sometimes the shop gets a bit crowded when a few customers come in at once, but we just ask them to have a seat on the bench outside. We’ve been in Nalgonda for many years and have seen the district change quite a bit. The bank across the street always has a line, which keeps the road busy. We don't do any big advertising. Our work is usually hanging up somewhere in town, and that's how people find us. It’s a steady life and we enjoy being right in the middle of the action. We just keep our heads down and paint what is asked.
