Amma Rice Cultivation

We are based out of Sc Colony in Puttapaka Narayanpur. Most of our life revolves around the rice fields nearby. It’s a small operation, mostly just family and a few helpers from the village. Growing rice is hard work and depends a lot on the rain and the seasons. We spend most of our time out in the dirt or checking the irrigation levels. The address 2-45/1 is where we keep our equipment and where we live too. It’s not a big company office or anything. It’s just our home and our work combined into one. When the harvest comes, everyone is busy from sunrise to sunset. We deal with the local markets to sell what we grow. There are good years and bad years, but that’s just how farming goes. We don't use any fancy technology, just the stuff that has worked for us for a long time. People around Narayanpur know us as the folks who stick to the traditional ways of planting. It’s a quiet life for the most part. The birds are loud in the morning and the sun gets hot by noon. We just keep moving and hope the crop turns out well. There isn't much to say beyond that. We grow rice, we sell it, and we start all over again the next season. It is what we know how to do best.
