Akshara Travels

You can find us over at House Number 3-67 in Kompalli village, which is located in the Munugode area. We have been running this travel business for quite a few years now, right from this same local spot. It is not a big, fancy office with a waiting lounge or air conditioning. It is mostly just us, a few chairs for guests, and the logs we keep for our vehicles and trips. Since we are based in a village setting, most people hear about us through word of mouth rather than seeing an ad on the internet. We spend a lot of our time on the phone or talking to the drivers about their routes and their schedules. Running a travel operation can be a bit of a headache sometimes because of the road conditions or the constant need for vehicle maintenance, but it is the work we know how to do. We try to keep things simple and just focus on getting people where they need to go without causing too much trouble for anyone. Our office space is on the smaller side, and there are almost always papers or vehicle keys lying around on the desks, but we know where everything is kept. It is a local operation through and through. We do not have any corporate dress codes. We just show up, talk to the customers, and manage the daily trips.
