Aditya Soda

Aditya Soda is right on the Main Road in Medlacheruvu, Nalgonda. You can find us at number 1-32. Since we are on the main road, we see everyone passing through town. Making soda involves a lot of work with the CO2 tanks and the bottles. It can get pretty messy with water on the floor, so we are always wearing boots and moving things around. The machine makes a specific hissing sound every time we fill a bottle. In Nalgonda, it gets incredibly hot for most of the year, so people are always stopping by when they are thirsty. We keep the crates stacked up against the wall. It’s not a very big place, just enough room for the equipment and the stock. We spend a lot of our day cleaning the glass bottles so they can be used again. It’s a physical job, lots of lifting and carrying. We don’t really have an office, just a small desk in the corner for the bills. The noise from the road never really stops, but after a while, you don't even notice the trucks going by. Sometimes the neighbors come over to chat for a few minutes while we work. It’s a simple business and we’ve been doing it this way for a long time now. We don't use any fancy machines, just the old ones that still work fine. It’s just us making soda for the local folks.
