Aranga Tea Private Limited

Aranga Tea Private Limited is based out in the village of Arangajuli, which is part of the Bogrikhuti area in Baksa. Our main office is at House No. 85. It’s a very different world out here compared to the big cities like Guwahati. Everything is green, and the air feels a lot cleaner. Tamulpur is the nearest police station area, but we are tucked away closer to the hills. Working with tea is a slow process that depends a lot on the seasons and the weather. We spend most of our time out near the bushes or in the shed where we handle the leaves. It’s a quiet life in Arangajuli, and most of our neighbors are also involved in farming or tea in some way. We don't have a website with flashy photos or a corporate team in suits. It’s just us in our work clothes, checking the rain and seeing how the plants are doing. The roads out here in the B.T.A.D area can be a bit rough, especially when the monsoon hits, but we’ve learned how to deal with it. We just focus on the tea and making sure the village operations run smoothly. It’s a simple way of living and working that we’ve stuck to for years. Sometimes the power goes out for hours, so we just sit and wait or do what we can by hand. Being in the Nalbari region but specifically in Baksa gives us a unique spot.
