Over in Village Gass, specifically on Gass Road, you will find Home Sai Plastics. We are quite close to the Post Office in Sopara and the Durga Mata Mandir is just a short walk away. Being near the temple means we see a lot of people passing by on their way to pray. Our shop is full of plastic items for the house, like containers, stools, and cleaning supplies. We try to keep things that people in the village actually use every day. It is not a fancy showroom. The floors are concrete and the shelves are mostly wooden, some of them a bit old now. We spend a lot of time rearranging the stock because new things arrive and we have to find a place for them. In the rainy season, it can get a bit muddy around here, so we spend a lot of time mopping the entrance. It is a quiet life for the most part, except for the temple bells and the occasional truck delivery. We are not looking to expand into some huge corporation. We just want to keep the shop running so the locals do not have to travel too far to get their basic plastic goods. Usually, the owner is there behind the counter, maybe listening to the radio or talking to a neighbor. It is just a small business tucked away in a corner of the village, doing what we do every day without much change or any polished sales talk.
