World Health Organization

We are operating as the World Health Organization out here in Hilsa, Nalanda. Our office is on Bihari Road, located at Sri Bishun Sharma’s place, right in the 801302 area. Being in a place like Bihar, we see a lot of local health issues firsthand. We spend a lot of time out in the community or sitting in this small office handling paperwork. It’s not like the big headquarters you see on the news; it’s a local setup for the Hilsa district. We try to keep track of the local clinics and the supply of medicine. Some days it’s very busy with people coming in and out, and other days it’s just us updating the registers. The roads around here can be tough, so getting to the remote parts of Nalanda takes some time. We aren't here to give speeches; we just want to help where it's needed in the village. It’s a simple office with the basics. We deal with the local authorities and try to make sure health programs actually reach the people here. It’s a lot of coordination and talking to families. We’ve been at this spot for a bit now, and everyone on Bihari Road knows us. We just keep our focus on the day-to-day health needs of the community without any fancy labels or complicated corporate procedures getting in our way.
