You can find us at The Rajgir Residency here in Nalanda. It’s a quiet spot most of the time, which helps us stay focused. We spend our days helping people figure out where they want to go or how to put together a local gathering. Since we are based in Rajgir, we see a lot of visitors coming through for the history and the old sites. We have a small desk and a couple of phones that never seem to stop ringing during the busy season. It’s not a big fancy office with glass walls or modern art. It’s just a room where we keep our maps, notebooks, and stacks of paper. Planning events can be a bit of a headache sometimes with all the small details, but we’ve been doing it long enough that we know who to call to get things fixed. We handle things like transport and finding decent places for people to stay. We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that. We just talk to people and listen to what they actually need. Sometimes the internet is slow, so we do things the old-fashioned way with paper and pens. We know this area of Nalanda very well, so we can usually tell you the best times to visit the sights. It’s mostly just two or three of us working here. We take breaks to walk around the grounds when it gets too busy inside. It’s a steady job.
