Tcdds Welfare Foundation

We are situated in Bargaon, which is a village in the Silao block of Nalanda. Our work happens right here in the heart of the panchayat. Tcdds Welfare Foundation isn't some big city group; we are local people through and through. The address is basically where we live and work every day. Nalanda is a place with a lot of history, but in Bargaon, we are more concerned with the here and now. We deal with the everyday struggles that people in the village face. Whether it is help with some local paperwork or organizing a small event, we are usually involved. The office is just a simple room where we keep our records and meet with neighbors. It gets a bit crowded on market days when everyone is out and about. We don't have any fancy equipment or a big budget. Most of what we do is just talking to people and trying to find solutions for the problems they bring us. The roads to Bargaon can be a bit rough during the rainy season, but that doesn't stop people from coming by. We know everyone in the Tola and they know us. It is a very close-knit community. We just keep things moving as best as we can without making much noise about it. It is practical, everyday work that keeps us busy from morning until the sun goes down over the fields. We like the pace of life here.
