Shuvya Foods and Pharmaceuticals is based in the village of Rani, which falls under the Bachhwara block. We are specifically in the Panch-Rani-III section. Our office is actually at Home Number 09, which belongs to Vijay Nr. Jha. It’s a very rural area, far away from the big cities of Bihar. Because we deal with both food items and pharmaceuticals, our days are quite varied. One hour we might be looking at food safety standards and the next we are checking medicine batches. Being in a village like Rani means we are very connected to the local people. Everyone knows Vijay’s house, so it’s easy for folks to find us if they need to. The pace here is different; you have to account for the local harvest times and the way the weather affects the village roads. We don't have a corporate office with air conditioning and glass walls. We have a solid roof, a few desks, and plenty of space for our goods. It’s a bit of a family-like atmosphere among the workers here. We talk about the village news while we pack orders. We don't try to sound like a big multinational company because we aren't one. We are just a small outfit in Bachhwara trying to provide useful products to our region. It’s a lot of manual labor and careful record-keeping, but it’s honest work that we are used to doing every day. We usually close up before it gets too dark outside.
