Our office is at Santosh Kumar’s place in Deepnagar, Nalanda. Servion India Bhavishya Nidhi Limited is the name we chose because we wanted to focus on what is coming next for our members. Deepnagar is a nice area, and we have been here for a while now. The office is just a simple room with the basic things we need to keep track of the money. We are a Nidhi, so everything we do is for the mutual benefit of the people who join us. It is not like a regular business where you are just a customer. Here, you are part of the group. We spend our days talking to people from the neighborhood about their plans and how they can save a little bit of their earnings. We don't have any big advertising or anything. Word just gets around from one person to another. It is a slow way to grow, but it is the right way for a place like Nalanda. Sometimes the paperwork gets a bit messy, and we have to spend the evening straightening things out, but we don't mind. It is part of the job. We are just regular people, same as our members, and we want to make sure everyone has a bit of a cushion for the future. It is a practical, no-nonsense way of doing things that seems to suit the people around here just fine.
