Down in Biharsharif, specifically at Gutataha Jalalpur, is where you will find Samrural Mutual Nidhi Limited. We are set up near the Devi Sthan, which is a pretty well-known spot around here. Renu Devi’s place is easy to spot once you get close to the landmark. The office is small and gets a lot of light in the afternoon. We mostly deal with the rural folks who live nearby and need a place to handle their money matters without going all the way into the city center. It’s a bit of a walk from the main road, but the path is clear enough. We keep a big register on the desk for all the walk-ins. Sometimes the local kids play cricket right outside the window, so it gets a bit loud, but we don’t mind much. It feels like home because it basically is. We handle the paperwork manually mostly, though there is a small laptop we use for the official stuff. The walls could use a fresh coat of paint, but they hold up the roof just fine. People drop by after they finish their work in the fields or at the shops. We don't have a receptionist; you just walk in and someone will be there to talk. It's a straightforward business in a busy part of Biharsharif-1. We just keep our heads down and do the work.
