We are based at Digvijay Narayan Singh’s place in Sakraudha, over at number 342 in Noorsarai Karanbigha. It is not a big corporate office or anything like that. It is just where we keep our files and meet up before heading out to the construction sites. We have been doing this for several years now and mostly work on local projects right here in the area. We know the soil around Sakraudha pretty well and what kind of foundations work best. Our team is small, just a few local guys who know their way around a building site. We don't have a website or any glossy brochures to show off. Most of our work comes from people just talking to each other in the village. If we do a good job on a wall or a roof, someone else usually hears about it. It gets really dusty out there and the sun is no joke, but we are used to it. Sometimes the materials we need take forever to arrive because the roads aren't great, so we just have to wait and manage our time. We don't use any fancy management software; we just write things down in a notebook. We try to be honest about how long things will take. If a job is going to be late, we just tell people. We are just trying to do decent work for our neighbors and keep the business going.
