Mukund Traders

Mukund Traders is situated in Asha Nagar, right near the Kisan College Road. Being so close to the post office in Sohsarai means there is always someone walking by. We opened up here because it felt like a good spot where people could stop in while doing their other errands. We mostly deal with everyday items that people need for their homes or small projects. The shop isn't very big, so we have to use every bit of space we have. There are boxes piled up and items tucked into corners. It might look a bit messy to an outsider, but I know where everything is kept. I’ve lived around this area for a long time, so I know a lot of the families who come in. We get students from the college sometimes too, though they usually just want something small. My days are spent checking the stock and helping whoever walks through the door. It’s quiet in the afternoons when the sun is hot, then it picks up again in the evening. I don’t use any fancy computer systems for the inventory; I just keep track of things in a notebook. It works well enough for a place like this. We just try to have what people are looking for so they don’t have to go all the way into the bigger city centers. It’s just a normal local business doing its thing every day.
