Masoor Dal

The business is called Masoor Dal and you can find us in Mokama. We are located right near the railway station, which is very convenient for everything we do. Mokama is a place that sees a lot of transit, and being so close to the tracks means there is always noise and movement around us. We deal with dal, as the name suggests, and it is a straightforward business without any hidden layers. We spend our mornings checking the arrivals and our afternoons getting things sorted. The area near the station is always humming with people coming and going, which gives our work a bit of energy. We don't have a fancy corporate office or a team of people in suits. It’s just us in our workspace, wearing our regular clothes and getting our hands a bit dirty. We’ve been in Mokama for a while and we like the practical nature of this town. People here don't have time for nonsense, and neither do we. We just focus on the Masoor Dal and making sure we are doing our bit. It’s a very simple existence. We don't have any grand visions for the future, we just want to keep the mill running and stay part of the Mokama community. If you are ever at the railway station, you are basically right next to where we spend all our time. It is just how we like it and it works for us.
