Being near the industrial area in Fatuha means there is always noise. You hear the big machines and the heavy trucks going past the gate all day long. Our place is not hard to find if you know the area. It is pretty basic here. We have some sheds and a small office where we sit. The yard is usually full of stuff waiting to be moved or worked on. We have been around Fatuha for a while, and you get used to the grit and the smoke from the factories nearby. It is a busy part of town. People are always in a hurry. We don't really have a set routine because something always comes up that needs fixing or checking. Sometimes we just sit outside and watch the traffic when things are slow. The heat can be a real problem in the summer months, making the metal sheds feel like ovens. We drink a lot of water and just try to stay out of the direct sun when we can. It is a lot of physical work and not much else. We don't go in for big meetings or anything like that. We just talk to the drivers and the workers and try to get the day finished. There is always something to do tomorrow, so we don't worry too much about it. It is just life in the industrial belt.
