Our place is located in Gaighat at Danka Ki Imli, which is a spot most people in Patna 800007 know well. We operate out of the space owned by Sri Kameshwar Thakur, who is the son of Ambika Thakur. It is a family-connected kind of setup and we like it that way. Most of our day is spent mixing beverages or getting food ready to be moved out to the shops. The kitchen area is always humming with activity and there is usually a pot of tea going for the staff. We don’t have fancy signs or a big lobby. It’s mostly just us in our aprons handling the ingredients and checking the bottles. The traffic outside can be a real headache, especially when the delivery vans are trying to pull in or out of the narrow street. We’ve had some long nights here when the orders are high and we just have to keep going until the last box is taped shut. Sometimes we make mistakes with the labeling and have to start over, but that is just life. It’s a bit dusty and the walls could use some fresh paint, but the work gets done and that’s what matters to us. We just focus on the daily tasks of the food business and try to stay out of the way of the neighbors. It’s a simple operation in a busy part of the city. We keep our tools clean and the work moving.
