Kaushliya Eye Clinic

Kaushliya Eye Clinic is located in Bind, Biharsharif. It’s a straightforward place where we check people’s vision and help them with glasses. The area around Bind is pretty rural and simple, and our clinic reflects that. We have the basic charts on the wall for reading letters and the machine to check the eye pressure. Most of the people who come in are older folks from the nearby villages who are having trouble seeing their work or reading the paper. We also see some kids who are struggling at school because they can’t see the board. It’s a small shop-front type of clinic. We don't have any fancy air conditioning, just a good ceiling fan that keeps the air moving. Sometimes the dust from the road outside comes in, so we have to wipe down the glass cases pretty often. We have a selection of frames for people to choose from if they need new glasses. Nothing too expensive, just practical stuff that lasts. People in Bind know us and they just stop by when their eyes start giving them trouble. It’s a slow pace of life here, and we take our time with each person to make sure they get the right help. There’s no rush, just the daily routine of testing eyes and chatting with the locals who come in. Most days it's quiet but we keep the doors open for anyone.
