DIAMOND ENGINEERING WORKSHOP

Our workshop is located in Noorsarai, which is part of the Nalanda district in Bihar. It’s a local place where we do all kinds of engineering and fabrication work. We’ve been here in the village for a long time. It’s not a big factory, just a solid workshop where we have our tools and machines. We mostly help out local businesses and farmers who need things fixed or parts made. There’s always someone coming in with a broken tractor part or a gate that needs welding. We don’t have a big office or a secretary. Usually, we are just out back working with the metal. It gets hot in the summer, but we keep going. We learned the trade from the people before us, and we just keep the tradition alive. People around here know us by name. We don't need to advertise in newspapers. Word of mouth is enough in a place like Noorsarai. We try to be honest about how long a job will take and what it will cost. Sometimes we are backed up with work, and people have to wait a bit, but they know we do the job right. It’s a simple life, working with our hands. We take the work as it comes and try to be helpful to the community. Nalanda is a place with a lot of history, and we’re just happy to be a small part of its present.
