Sundram Kirana

Sundram Kirana is a small shop located in Village Bhud, which is part of the Nalagarh Taluka. We are right in the heart of the village, and most people around here know us well. It’s a basic kirana store where we sell the things people need every day, like pulses, rice, soap, and tea. The shop isn't very big, and the shelves are usually overflowing with jars and packets. We don’t have a fancy cooling system or bright neon signs. It’s just a plain room with a counter where we’ve stood for years. Many of our customers are farmers from the surrounding fields who stop by on their way home. We often sit and chat about the weather or the local news while they wait for their items to be packed. It’s a slow pace of life here in Bhud, and we like it that way. We don't have a computer or a barcode scanner; we just do the math in our heads or on a small piece of paper. My family has lived in this district for generations, and the shop is our way of staying connected to everyone. We aren't looking to expand or become a big supermarket. We just want to keep the shelves stocked and the doors open for our neighbors. It’s simple, honest work that keeps us going every single day.
