Our small office is tucked away in Village Bir Plassi, which is part of the Nalagarh area in Solan. Being out here in Himachal Pradesh, things move at a bit of a different pace than in the big cities. We handle the paperwork side of things for the local work around here, mostly dealing with bills, supplies, and making sure the money part stays straight. The office isn't much to look at, just a functional space where we keep our ledgers and stacks of papers. We get a lot of trucks coming through and people from the nearby villages dropping in to talk about deliveries or how much they are owed. It can get a bit loud during the harvest seasons or when building materials are moving, but we are used to that. We’ve been in this spot for some time, so we know the local roads and the people running the nearby shops quite well. It's important to be someone people can trust out here because everyone knows everyone else. If we say we'll have a list ready or a payment sorted, we do our best to make it happen. The air is good here, and even though the work is just numbers and keeping track of things, it feels alright being away from the crowded cities. We do not have a big team, just a couple of us who know how to handle the local paperwork.
