Operating out of Mehta Mohalla in Nalagarh has its own rhythm. Being in Ward No. 8 means we are right in the middle of the local life here in Solan district. You can hear the sounds of the neighborhood all day long while we are working. We aren't a massive corporate entity with thousands of rules; we are just a group of people making sure things run right at Apar Industries. The office is tucked away in a spot that feels very much like home. In the mornings, we usually unlock the doors, get the machines or computers ready, and start on the list of things we missed from yesterday. Himachal weather can be a bit unpredictable, so some days are slower if the rain is heavy, but we usually manage to stay on track. We have a few desks, some storage space, and enough room to breathe. It’s a simple setup. We don't have a receptionist in a fancy lobby or anything. If you come by, you’ll probably just see one of us at a desk or moving boxes around. It is a practical way to work. We know the neighbors, and they know us. Most of the people working here have been around Nalagarh for years. It feels good to be part of the local community instead of being stuck in a big city high-rise. The air is better here anyway, even if the commute on the mountain roads can be a bit of a hassle sometimes.
