Saidhan Papers

We are located right off National Highway 8 in the Wakanpada area of Nalasupara East. Specifically, we're in the Dhaniv part of the neighborhood. Being near the highway makes it easy for the big trucks to get in and out, which is good because paper is heavy. We deal with a lot of bulk paper products here. The warehouse is a big open space filled with rolls and stacks of different sheets. It gets pretty hot during the summer because the roof is just tin. We spend most of our time loading and unloading. There isn't much of a front office, just a small desk where we keep the invoices and a telephone that rings more than it should. My cousin helps me with the lifting and the driving. We aren't fancy people. We wear old clothes because the ink and the dust get on everything anyway. The road outside can get very muddy when it rains, so we have to be careful not to get the paper wet. That’s the biggest worry, really. Just keeping everything dry and moving. We’ve been in this spot for several years now. We know the other business owners along the highway. We help each other out if a truck gets stuck or if someone needs to borrow a jack. It’s a tough way to make a living, but it’s steady work for us at Saidhan Papers.
