We run our operations out of Vraj Apartment in Nalasopara West, specifically in the A wing on the third floor. It’s a residential-style building in Cheda Nagar, not far from Maitri Apartment. Working from here gives us a bit of a different perspective than if we were in a massive glass office building. Most of our neighbors are families, so we try to keep things fairly quiet as we go about our consultancy and exim work. Our day-to-day involves a lot of sitting around the table, looking over export codes and helping people figure out how to navigate the rules for sending things abroad. It can be quite a puzzle sometimes, but we’ve been doing it long enough that we usually find a way through. The commute for us is pretty easy since we are right here in the neighborhood. We often have people from nearby businesses stop by to ask questions about their shipping documents. There is no receptionist at a big desk here; you usually just knock and one of us will let you in. We have a small setup with a couple of computers and a lot of binders filled with regulations. It’s a very hands-on type of environment where we handle every detail ourselves. We don’t really use big slogans or anything like that. We just tell people what can be done and how long it will take. It’s straightforward work for us in Nalasopara, and we like it that way.
