Ashoka Furniture Works

We have been at 17 142/6 on Thipparthy Road in Nakrekal for quite some time now. Most days you will find us covered in sawdust because that is just part of the job when you spend all your time working with wood. It is a busy spot and we usually have several projects going on at once. People from around Nakrekal know where to find us. We don't have a big fancy showroom or anything like that. Instead, it is just a practical workspace where we cut, sand, and join pieces together. Sometimes it gets a bit loud with the saws running, but that is how things get done. We handle different types of wood depending on what is available and what people need for their houses. It is hard work and our hands are rarely clean, but there is something good about seeing a pile of timber turn into something useful. We keep our tools sharp and try to get things finished when we say we will. Most of our neighbors stop by just to see what we are making. The shop isn't much to look at from the outside, but inside we are always busy. We focus on the basics here. If you are driving down Thipparthy Road, you can probably hear us working before you even see the sign. It is a simple life and a simple business, just making things one piece at a time for whoever needs them.
