Kheteshwar Ice Cream

We are set up on the ground floor of Kkk Apartment, right at Vathan Chowk in Nakhatrana. It’s a good location because we are near Mahadev Traders, which gets a lot of foot traffic. The apartment building is easy to spot. Our shop is just a simple room with several large freezers. We don't have a lot of space for sitting, so most people just grab their ice cream and keep walking. It’s a family-run place, and we’ve been here for a couple of years now. We usually open up in the late morning and stay until the market closes down at night. The dust from the road can be a problem, so we are always wiping down the counters. We don't do any big promotions or ads. People just see the sign when they are at the chowk. Sometimes the neighbors come in just to chat for a bit while they pick out a flavor. It’s a friendly atmosphere, nothing too formal. We check our stock every day to make sure we don’t run out of the popular ones. The refrigeration is the most important part of the job. If the power flickers, we have to keep an eye on everything. It’s just a practical way to earn a living here in Nakhatrana. We like seeing the same faces coming back every week. We just focus on the day to day work and keeping the shop open.
