S. K. Engineering Corporation. We have been at No. 20/1 Adarsh Nagar for a while now. Most days it’s just us handling the machines and trying to get through the orders. It gets loud in here. The morning starts early before the sun hits the front door. We mostly deal with mechanical parts and repairs. Sometimes the traffic outside gets backed up, but we just keep working. People drop by with questions or parts they need fixed. We try to keep things organized but sometimes the grease gets everywhere. It’s a busy spot in the neighborhood. My hands are usually dirty by noon. We don’t have a big fancy office, just the workshop where we do the engineering work. It's nothing too special, just honest work done day after day. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to wait a bit. We know the neighbors pretty well since we've been on this street so long. If you walk down Adarsh Nagar, you’ll hear the metal clanging. That is us. We take care of what needs doing and go home tired. It's a living. We have some old tools that still work better than the new ones. Engineering is mostly just solving small problems one by one. That’s what we do here. No big speeches, just the metal and the machines. We stay until the job is done most nights. It is what it is. It's just us here at the shop.
