Ompal Clinic

Ompal Clinic is right here in AkbarabadNajibabad. It's been a while since we set up shop on this street. Most days start pretty early because people around here like to get their business done before the sun gets too hot. We don't have much fancy stuff, just the basics to help out anyone who walks through the door. It’s a small place, really. Sometimes the power goes out and we just sit and wait it out with the patients. You get used to the noise from the road and the kids playing nearby. We spend a lot of time cleaning the floors and making sure the chairs are lined up right. It’s just how things go here. Most of us grew up nearby so we know the families and the stories of the neighborhood. This part of the world has its own rhythm. We try to keep things quiet inside so people can feel a bit of peace when they come in. Sometimes the waiting area gets crowded and people have to stand outside under the shade of the roof. It isn't a big hospital or anything like that, just a clinic where we do what we can. We have some old desks and a few cabinets for files that have been here since the start. It feels like home to most of us who work here every single day. We don't have a website or anything like that, just our sign on the wall in AkbarabadNajibabad.
