Manish Clinic

You can find Manish Clinic over on Balakram Street in Najibabad, right inside the City Hospital building. It’s a busy little corner of the world. Najibabad has a lot of traffic, and Balakram Street is no different, with people moving around all day long. Being inside the hospital building means there are always people walking past our door. Our space is just a few rooms where we keep our things and see people who need help. The windows look out onto the street, so if you’re waiting, you can watch the rickshaws and bikes go by. It’s a bit noisy because of the horns outside, but we’ve gotten used to it over the years. We keep a big water cooler in the corner because it gets very dusty and dry out there. The staff here mostly takes turns at the front desk, making sure the folders are in the right order. We don’t have any fancy decorations on the walls, just some old posters and a calendar that we forget to flip sometimes. It’s a very practical environment. We start early in the morning before the sun gets too hot, and we usually stay until the streetlights come on. The building itself is old, with thick walls and heavy doors that creak a little when you open them. It feels solid, though. We’re just a regular part of the street here in Najibabad. People stop by all the time just to ask directions or check the time.
