Ahmed Kirana Store

I've been running Ahmed Kirana Store here in Mirzapur Said Mandawali for a while now. It's just a small place packed with stuff people need every day. From flour and rice to those little packets of spices you forget to buy until you're cooking dinner. The shop stays busy mostly in the mornings when everyone is getting milk and bread. I try to keep everything stocked up because I know how annoying it is when you walk over and can't find what you want. It's not fancy or anything, just shelves and bags everywhere. Some days it gets a bit dusty with the road right outside, but that’s just how it is. People from around the colony drop by, sometimes just to chat for a minute while I weigh out their pulses. My family helps out too when things get hectic. We know most of the faces that come through the door by now. Sometimes the kids come in for a single piece of candy or a small notebook for school. It’s a lot of work keeping track of what’s running low and dealing with the delivery trucks that block the lane, but it keeps me busy. I don't really have a big staff, just me and occasionally a nephew. We open early and stay open until the lights in the street are the only things left on. It’s just a regular shop for regular needs, nothing more than that really.
