We’ve been here at Plot No. 43 in Sector 3 of the IIE Pant Nagar area for a while now. If you know this part of Udham Singh Nagar, you know it’s mostly just rows of factories and trucks coming and going all day. Our place isn't anything fancy to look at from the outside, just a regular industrial setup where we get on with the work of making alloys. The mornings usually start with the sound of the gates opening and the workers checking the machines. It gets pretty loud once everything is running, and the heat from the metal can be a lot, especially during the summer months here. Most of us have been working together for years, so we have a rhythm. We don't spend much time on fancy offices or decorations because the real work happens on the floor. Sometimes the power acts up or a delivery is late because of the traffic near the estate, but that’s just how it goes in this part of the district. We keep our tools clean and our heads down. If you walk past the plot, you'll see stacks of material and maybe a few of us taking a quick tea break near the entrance. It’s a busy spot but we like the pace. Being in Pant Nagar means we’re surrounded by other people doing the same kind of hard work, which keeps us focused on getting things done right without making a big fuss about it.
