Sai Hospital

Located right at Mukhani Chauraha on Kaladhungi Road, Sai Hospital is in a spot where there’s always something happening. The traffic at the chauraha can be quite something, but once you step inside, it’s a bit different. We’ve been here for a while, and the building shows its age in some spots, but it’s sturdy. We have a few different sections for different types of care. The staff is mostly local people who know the shortcuts around Kaladhungi Road to get to work on time. We don't have a big lobby with fancy sofas. It’s just rows of plastic chairs where people sit and wait. The nurses are usually busy running from one room to another. We have a small area where the doctors sit and talk to patients. It’s not a corporate environment at all. We talk to each other like neighbors. Sometimes the tea lady comes around with a tray, and that's the highlight of the afternoon for many of us. We deal with all sorts of regular health issues. The windows look out onto the busy road, and you can see the hustle and bustle of Mukhani Chauraha from the upper floors. We keep the place clean, though the dust from the road is a never-ending battle. It’s a practical, no-nonsense hospital for the people who live and work in this part of town. We are just doing our part to help out the folks in the community here.
