We've been at Daharia Manpur for a while now. Mohan Singh Rawat's place is where we set up. It’s not a fancy office, just a workspace where the looms keep going. Most days it's just the sound of the machines and us checking the threads. Haldwani has changed a lot, but this part of Nainital feels the same. We handle a lot of fabric here. Sometimes the orders get a bit much, but we just keep at it. People ask why we stay in this spot, but it works for us. It’s close enough to the main parts of town but quiet enough to get the work done. The textiles we make go out to different places, but it all starts right here on this floor. We aren't doing anything revolutionary, just making sure the quality is decent and the counts are right. It gets dusty, and the tea runs out fast, but that’s just how a handloom business is. We’ve got a small crew. Everyone knows their job. We don’t spend much time on websites or posters. Usually, people find us because they know Mohan or have heard about the work we do. It’s a simple setup in Haldwani-II, nothing more than that. We just show up, do the weaving, and go home when the sun sets. We have five people on the floor most days, and we like the quiet of the morning before the traffic picks up. We are just a basic handloom outfit.
