Uttaranchal Terpene Products (P) Ltd. operates out of Street No. 9 on Rampur Road. This part of town is mostly warehouses and small factories, so there’s always a truck or two blocking the way in the mornings. We deal with terpene products, which means there’s often a strong, pine-like scent hanging around the building. Our facility is a mix of processing areas and a small office space that’s usually covered in stacks of files. We’ve been on Rampur Road for quite some time now. The building is older, with some cracks in the walls and a roof that we had to patch last monsoon to keep the rain out. It’s not a place for visitors really, just a spot where we get the work done. The machines hum all day, and we have to talk loud to hear each other over the noise. We spend a lot of time checking the vats and making sure the drums are sealed properly before they go out. It’s a lot of physical labor, and by the end of the day, everyone is tired and ready to head home. We don't do much advertising; most people find us because they need these specific products for their own manufacturing. The local tea seller comes by twice a day, which is a nice break for the staff. We just keep our heads down and manage the production cycles as they come. It’s a simple, hardworking environment with no frills at all.
